	German designer and architect of Hungarian origin, enrolled in the Bauhaus School at the age of 18. Four years later he was one of the main collaborators. Director of the furniture section, Breuer directed research towards the planning of furniture and furnishing objects to be industrially produced, tackling the relative technological and stylistic problems with a rigorous methodology.
